Organizers

Nordic Open 2010 was a joint idea of the three organizing chambers of commerce – Danish-Estonian, Estonian-Swedish and Swedish-Estonian. The idea of the project came up as a result of a discussion on business relations and the cooperation potential between the Scandinavian and Baltic markets and on what level the potential is actually being used. Having the knowledge and having heard the experience from the members of our chambers, we figured that it much of the trade has been based on one way traffic – Scandinavian companies contacting Baltic companies for subcontracting or for potential acquisitions.

Why don’t we promote Scandinavian countries for the Baltic entrepreneurs? Why don’t we give our contribution by bringing the knowledge about the Scandinavian markets closer to home? Why don’t we give the companies a chance to meet up in Tallinn to exchange contacts and to learn about each other?

All ideas never materialize, but this one has been approved by the Nordic Council and is being supported by the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Program for business and industry. We are proud to see the Nordic Open 2010 coming up on October 8th, 2010 in Tallinn.

See you in Tallinn!

The international chambers of commerce are non-governmental organizations established to represent the member companies in discussions with the public sector, with media, but also to give an opportunity for the members to network, to be an information point for the entrepreneurs and to learn about the countries involved.
