Active in Central and Eastern European investments and financial advisory since 1993, Joakim founded Trigon Capital (known until 1998 as Hansa Investments) in January 1994. A graduate of Cambridge University (B.A., M.A. (honours)), he spent 11 years in investment banking in the City of London and Wall Street, where he was a Vice President of Goldman Sachs and an Executive Director and Board Member of Merrill Lynch International Bank. He has chaired or been a member of over twenty leading Baltic banks and corporations including names such as the Estonian Savings Bank, Hansabank, Sanitas, Gutta, Baltika and the Reval Hotel Group.
Trigon Capital Group is today the largest independent Baltic-based asset manager, managing assets across the Global Emerging Markets on behalf of international clients, and a growing force in Central and Eastern European merchant banking where it manages listed and non-listed investment vehicles focused especially on the agri-related and property-related sectors. It also provides corporate advisory services focused on its sectors of core competence.

Marketing veteran with extensive experience since 1986 in the marketing and building of service brands, in Sweden as well as internationally. Works according to the philosophy that all marketing should benefit the profitability of the operations.
Has used Sweden as a base, but worked in marketing projects in countries including Algeria, Singapore, South America, Russia, Baltic countries, the Nordic countries and Europe.
Has developed strategies, names, graphic identity, Brand Management structure and tracking systems for more than thirteen companies in eleven countries. Including brand strategies in conjunction with public offerings.
Has worked in development teams as marketing expert and done marketing, competitor and target audience analysis. Produced launch strategies, foremost in the area of information based services.
